I honestly enjoyed “Won’t you be my Neighbour” last year. So, this year, I was anxious to see one of my favourite actors Tom Hanks play the role of Mr. Rogers.
This movie was not what I was expecting. Don’t get me wrong. Tom Hanks was perfect in this role. You soon forget that he in fact isn’t Fred Rogers. Yet, the plot especially slow and boring. A better name for the film would have been “Mr. Rogers Analysis This!!” Boys and girls, can you say “Valium!”
I now realize though, my big wardrobe of cardigan sweaters now needs a bright red and green one.
