Before I start my review, can movie goers please take their noisy/fussy kids out of the theatre. It is really getting bad.
I have to agree with the critics on this one. I am a HUGE Lion King Fan. I have watched the cartoon version many times, and have seen the broadway play twice. I had high hopes for this version, but I couldn’t get on board with the supposedly real animals speaking. It was like watching a Wild Kingdom of Africa show with the soundtrack of the original movie. I didn’t “hate” this flick…it just didn’t love it. I would have preferred if they put the broadway play on the big screen.
